Morris John PINGEL and Gloria SCHRAB were married on 12 June 1971 in Horicon, Dodge County, WI.^15,356 Gloria SCHRAB was born on 23 March 1948 in Beaver Dam, Dodge County, WI.³⁵⁶ She died on 29 February 2016 at the age of 67 in Beloit, Beloit Township, Rock County, WI.³⁵⁶

Obituary Notes: "Gloria J. Pingel, 67, of Tomah and Roscoe passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit.

She was born March 23, 1948, in Beaver Dam to Donald and Ruth (Wellso) Schrab. Gloria graduated from the Horicon High School class of 1966. After high school, Gloria attended Madison Technical College and later worked in the Horicon and Madison areas.

On June 12, 1971, Gloria was united in marriage to Morris Pingel at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Horicon. After moving to Tomah, Gloria worked for Fort McCoy. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially her flower gardens.

Gloria is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Morris; her sister, Sharon (Gary) Dummer; a niece, Michelle Dummer; a nephew, Greg Dummer; a great-niece, Alison Dummer; a sister-in-law, Jeanette (Marvin); two brothers-in-law, Marvin and Mark (Linda); an aunt and uncle, Raymond and Victoria Schrab; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ruth Schrab; her grandparents; and a sister-in-law, Parry Pingel; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and Dwight Massey.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Curt S. Backus will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church."
