Obituary Notes: "DeVere D. Peth, 75, of Tomah, died at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center on Jan. 5, 2006. HE was born June 14, 1930, in rural Tomah to Arthur and Helen (Sonnenburg) Peth. He married Shirley Lawrenz Oct. 27, 1951.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons Dennis (Patricia) and Bruce (Kathy); daughters DeAnne (Curtis) Williams, Karen (Michael) Miller and Jadrienne (Jon) Rauvola, all of Tomah, and daughter Sandy (Mark) Cillis of Roswell, NM; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He is further survived by one brother, Larry (Marlene) Peth; two sisters, Darlene (Arlie) Jenks and Aleda (Gene) Moseley, and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Peth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy; and his brother, Gary.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4 miles south of Tomah on Hwy. 131. There will be a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. preceding the memorial service."
