Descendants of William McCaskey

William McCaskey was born in Northern Ireland in 1764. He emigrated to America and married Elizabeth McEwan, who was born in Baltimore.

Their son, Josiah McCaskey and his wives, Rebecca Stevenson and Maria Kuhn, had a total of six children between them. Josiah's second-youngest son, Alexander "Alex" McCaskey is the source of most of the McCaskey families who settled in Monroe County.
