He emigrated in November 1892 from Germany.^42,80 He sailed on the vessel "Vangover" from the port of Antwerp, Belgium, and arrived in Detroit, MI, o/a 7 December 1892. He appeared in the census in 1900 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁸ He was living in the household of his sister Margaret and her husband, next door to his parents. About 1915 Peter was a fireman.⁸⁰ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴¹ He was living with his father and sisters. He was naturalized on 27 November 1920.⁸⁰ Peter appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴² His occupation was listed as "Engineer, Crane."
