Descendants of Johann Heinrich Mevius

Johann Heinrich Mevius and his wife, Catharina Elisabeth Sophia Meinke, were born in the Mecklenburg-Schwerin Province of Prussia in the 1750's. They are the earliest-known ancestors of the Mevius (later changed to Mails) families that lived in Monroe County.
