Descendants of Andrzeja "Andreas" Neas

Andreas Neas and his wife, Anna Schutt, were born in the Posen Province of Prussia in about 1800.

Their son Johann “John” Neas, Sr. and his wife, Friederike Henriette Tietzmann, were born in about 1820 in the same area of Prussia. They emigrated to America in 1872 with five of their eventual six children, and the children married into families such as Eckelberg, Zellmer, Rosenow, Jackson and Waegner/Wagner.

All of the Neas families in Monroe County descended from John and Friederike.
