Jennie Frieda NEMITZ and Herman Charles JESKA were married on 21 July 1923 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.^5,37 Herman Charles JESKA, son of Charles Herman JESKA and Matilda GARBRECHT, was born on 12 June 1885 in Wisconsin.^1,2,5 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.¹ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.² His occupation was "Laborer, Works Out." Herman appeared in the census in 1920 in Brawley, Imperial County, CA.³⁸ He was living with his "half-brother," William Bowman, and his occupation was "Clerk, General Merchandise." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Brawley, Imperial County, CA.³⁶ His occupation was "Storekeeper, General Store." He died on 2 June 1964 at the age of 78 in Brawley, Imperial County, CA.⁵
