Friedrich Albert "Fred" NEMITZ Jr. and Louisa M. "Louise" WULF were married about 1903.2,12 (According to the 1910 Census, they had 4 children, of whom all were living at the time.)

. Louisa M. "Louise" WULF, daughter of Henry WULF and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (WULF), was born on 10 January 1883 in Germany.2,13,19 She emigrated on 26 August 1902 from Germany.2,13,20 She was listed as "Louise Wulf," age 19, and marital status "Single."

The steamship "S. S. Blucher" departed Hamburg on 16 August 1902 and arrived at Ellis Island, NY. It was built by the Blohm & Voss Shipbuilders, Hamburg, for the Hamburg-American Line in 1902, and had Hamburg-New York and Hamburg-South America service. It had a service speed on 16 knots, and held 2,102 passengers--333 in first class, 169 in second, and 1,600 in third. In 1917 the ship was seized to the Brazilian government and renamed the "Leopoldina." In 1923 the ship was transferred to the French Line and renamed the "Suffren." It was scrapped in Italy in 1929.
