Lucille Luella VINCENZ was born on 23 June 1908 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^125,220,221 She was born in the farm home on the Ridge that was eventually bought by August Pergande when he and Lydia Kewit married in 1910. At the time that Lucille was born in 1908, her parents were renting the farm. She was baptized on 26 July 1908 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹²⁵ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁰ Lucille appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ She was living with her parents. She was confirmed in 1922 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²²² at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴³ Lucille appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹²⁸ She died on 12 December 2005 at the age of 97 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²²¹ Obituary Notes: "Lucille L. Prise, 97, of Tomah, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Tomah Healthcare Center. She was born in the town of Ridgeville on June 23, 1908, to George and Matie (Kewitt) Vincenz. She was united in marriage to Wilbert Prise on June 19, 1930, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ridgeville.

She is survived by two sons, Duane (Lois) and Lowell (Debbie) both of Tomah; seven grandchildren, Eric (Mary) Prise, Kari (John) Steinhoff, Kurt (Denise) Prise, Karla (Dan) Welch, Kristi (Bob) Micheel, Amanda Prise and Alison Prise; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Zellmer; a sister-in-law, Elva Prise both of Tomah and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Micheel; three sisters, Alice Witz, Eunice Beltz, Essie Peglaroni and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave. Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until services Thursday at the church. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements."

She was buried on 16 December 2005 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²²¹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Wilbert Fredrick "Bill" PRISE, son of Wilhelm Frederick PREUSS and Ida Wilhelmine Augustine WESTPHAL, was born on 18 October 1906 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,36 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ He was living with his parents and his occupation was "laborer, railroad yards." Bill appeared in the census in 1940 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴³ His household was at 618 Woodard Avenue and his occupation was "Gang Foreman, Steam Railroad Shop." His total wages in 1939 were $980. He appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹²⁸ His household was at 606 Wooard Avenue and his occupation was "Chauffeur, Railroad Shop." He died on 14 August 2002 at the age of 95 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ Obituary Notes: "Wilbur (Bill) F. Prise, 95, of Tomah, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at the Tomah Health Care Center. He was born Oct. 18, 1906 to William and Ida (Westpfahl) Prise at Tomah. He was united in marriage to Lucille Vincenz on June 19, 1930, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. He worked as a chauffeur and crane operator for the Milwaukee Road until his retirement.

He was a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah. Wilbert played the concertina at weddings and other special occasions and often entertained residents at the Tomah Care Center.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lucille of Tomah; two sons, Lowell (Debbie) and Duane (Lois), both of Tomah; seven grandchildren, Eric (Mary) Prise, Kari (John) Steinhoff, Kurt (Denise) Prise, Karla (Dan) Welch, Kristi (Bob) Micheel, Amanda Prise and Alison Prise, all of Tomah; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emil (Elva) of Tomah; a sister-in-law, Janet Zellmer of Tomah; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Micheel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11 A.M. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery." Bill was buried on 17 August 2002 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
