Ernst Wilhelm DROWATZKY was born on 12 March 1866 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.^10,18 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.² He was baptized on 19 June 1872 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ernst died in 1939 at the age of 73. He was a production foreman in Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS. Monroe County Historical Book Article #20: "Ernest settled in Wichita, KS. He was foreman of the millwright department of a packing company for 42 years. He built the 30-room home in which he lived and at the time of his death his library contained 3,000 volumes. He established the Drowatzky Floral Company and was active in public affairs."
