Descendants of Francis Cooke


Francis Cooke was one of the approximately 100 passengers on the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth, England, to Plymouth in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, in 1620.

He traveled to the New World with his son John, and was one of the Pilgrims seeking religious freedom. On the ship's manifest, his occupation was "woolcomber." He was 42 years old at the time of the voyage.

He was the 17th of the 42 signers of the Mayflower Compact.
