Abner Aaron DEZOTELL was born on 2 April 1855 in Concord, Jefferson County, WI.^48,321 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁸ He died on 24 July 1928 at the age of 73 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, SD.³²¹ Abner was a mail carrier in Utah.³²¹ He carried mail from Salt Lake City to Silverton, Colorado, on horse back, 20 years after the Pony Express. One of the stories that he told was that he stayed with a man in Salt Lake City that had four wives.
