Descendants of George Soule, Sr.

George Soule, Sr., was one of the approximately 100 passengers on the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth, England, to Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts, in 1620.

He was not one of the Pilgrims escaping personal religious persecution. Rather, he was a 21-year-old servant to Edward Winslow, a printer and undertaker who would later become Governor of Plymouth Colony.

George was the 35th of the 42 signers of the Mayflower Compact.
