7. Adolph Owen HEILMAN Sr. was born on 25 March 1878 in Wisconsin.^2,9,13 (His surname was spelled "Heilmann" in the Index to Marriage Registrations.)
He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He appeared in the census in 1900 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.² He was a "Boarder" living in the household of Casper and Sophia Heilman, and his occupation was "Merchant, Dry ...." Casper may have been an uncle. Adolph appeared in the census in 1920 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.⁷ His occupation was "Merchant, General Store." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ His household was at 1003 Oak Street and his occupation was "Retail Merchant, Dry Goods Store." He died on 1 February 1959 at the age of 80.^3,13

Adolph Owen HEILMAN Sr. and Cecelia "Celia" GOULD were married on 14 May 1901 in Monroe County, WI.^6,9,18 They had ten children. Cecelia "Celia" GOULD was born on 3 August 1882.¹³ She died on 13 December.¹³ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.⁷ Celia appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵
