4. Elisha HOREL was born on 2 May 1828 in Banwell, Somerset County, England.7,8 (His surname was spelled "Horrel" in the 1880 Census.) He appeared in the census in 1860 in Pine Valley Township, Clark County, WI.4 He was "Single" and living in the household of his brother Isaac. His occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Mentor Township, Clark County, WI.5 His occupation was "Farmer." Elisha appeared in the census in 1880 in Mentor Township, Clark County, WI.2 His occupation was "Farmer." He died on 14 February 1895 at the age of 66.7,9 of a heart attack. He was buried in 1895 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.7 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.

Elisha HOREL and Mary O. ORR were married about 1865.7,10,11 (According to the 1900 and 1910 Census', they had 4 children, of whom 3 were living at the time.) Mary O. ORR, daughter of William ORR and Mary UNKNOWN (ORR), was born in March 1847 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.7,8,11 She emigrated in 1849 from Scotland, United Kingdom.10 She and her parents settled first in Humbird, WI.

She appeared in the census in 1860 in Metomen Township, Fond du Lac County, WI.12 Mary appeared in the census in 1870 in Mentor Township, Clark County, WI.13 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Mentor Township, Clark County, WI.8 She appeared in the census in 1900 in Amity Township, Page County, IA.11 She was the Head of Household and her son Charles was living with her. Her occupation was "Landlady." Mary appeared in the census in 1910 in Worland Precinct, Big Horn County, WY.10 She was living with her son Herbert.

. She died about 1 June 1927 at the age of 80 in Humbird, Clark County, WI.7,9 She was buried in 1927 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.7 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.
