6. Emilie Ottilie "Amelia" KUCKUCK was born on 20 January 1864 in Preussen (Prussia).^4,6,8,14,16 (The 1880 Census listed her birth place as Wisconsin.) She appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ She was confirmed on 6 April 1879 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Amelia appeared in the census in 1880 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She died on 28 April 1948 at the age of 84 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶

Emilie Ottilie "Amelia" KUCKUCK and Benjamin Lee MITCHELL were married on 29 December 1884 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^{13,14,16,17,18} Emilie and her sister Augusta were married on the same day. Emilie's witnesses were Dora Albrecht and Fred Gnewikow, two friends of the bride. Benjamin Lee MITCHELL, son of Sam MITCHELL and Catherine UNKNOWN (MITCHELL), was born in 1844 in Muskingum County, OH.^14,16 He died on 25 October 1912 at the age of 68 in Fergus Falls, Otter Tail County, MN.^16,17
