Descendants of (Unknown) Kuckuck

There were two Kuckuck families that had descendants that settled in Monroe County. Both of the families emigrated from Hannover, in the Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) Province of Prussia, so it is very likely that they were related. This report covers the first of those two ancestral couples.

This couple was the parents of Friedrich and Karl “Charles” Kuckuck, the latter of whom emigrated to America in 1864 and settled in Wilton Township.

The descendants of Friedrich are not known. Charles and his wife, Minnie Schwantz, had nine children who married into families such as Fahlend, Kuehn, Mitchell, Stevens, Koeninger, and Drowatzky.
