Lucile Norena Rosetta PERGANDE was born on 8 April 1914 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.27 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.10 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.11 Lucile died on 20 July 1993 at the age of 79 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.27,28

Obituary Notes: "Norena R. Storkel, 79, of Warrens died Tuesday July 20, 1993 at the Tomah Care Center. She was born to Arthur and Martha B. (Meinecke) Pergande on April 8, 1914 at Tomah. She was united in marriage to Arnold Storkel on March 2, 1933 at Great Lakes Naval Station Illinois. They lived in the Tomah and Warrens area all their married life.

In addition to her husband Arnold of Warrens, she is survived by five sons, Bruce (Ester) and Keith (Mary) both of Milwaukee, Roy (Sue), Lee (Monika) and Dale all of Warrens; four daughters, Mrs. Jean (Tom) Petersen and Mrs Nancy (Don) Bushing both of Tomah, Mrs. Sue (Dave) Pfaff of Deerfield and Kay Lamb of Merrill, Ore; 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a sister Margaret Rice of Racine, Two nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Mark and a brother Harold.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 A.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Rev. Father Dale Klitzke will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah." She was buried on 22 July 1993 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28,29 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Lucile Norena Rosetta PERGANDE and Arnold George "Prof" STORKEL were married on 2 March 1933 in Great Lakes Naval Air Station, Lake County, IL.15,16,27 Arnold George "Prof" STORKEL, son of Herman Louis STORKEL and Hulda A. GRAMENZ, was born on 25 January 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.3,27 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Gold Creek Township, Powell County, MT.30 His occupation was listed as "Welder Helper, Railroad." He died on 18 August 1998 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.27,28 (His date of death may have been 18 August 1998.) Prof was buried on 21 August 1998 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28,29 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mark Edward STORKEL was born on 18 May 1956 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.31,32 He died on 26 March 1977 at the age of 20 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.28,31,32

Newspaper Article: "A 20-year-old rural Warrens youth was the third traffic fatality in Monroe county in 1977 following an accident a 4:20 P.M. Saturday in the Township of Lincoln. Mark Storkel, Rt. 2, Warrens, was driving his motorcycle on Auburn Ct. and tried to pass a pickup truck driven by Leonard Marshall, 18, of Rt. 2, Warrens.
Marshall was attempting to turn left into the driveway of the Richard Newman residence when Storkel hit his vehicle in the left side.

Mark was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Storkel, Rt. 2, Warrens. He was a 1975 graduate of Tomah Senior High, and worked as a welder for the Felton Manufacturing Co. of Warrens.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Ninneman Funeral Home. Rev. Arnold Nielsen will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah." He was buried on 30 March 1977 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.29,32 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
